I remember a post a while back on the Adium blog about what exactly they need to start work on voice and video, and it's quite a task. It's a shame that voice and video could keep people away from Adium and stuck with iChat. I don't know what I would do if I was forced to use iChat- Adium meets so many more of my needs.
