I know that I was totally shocked by the fact that QuickTime didn't allow me to play full screen movies when I bought my Mac, even though Front Row did! I already knew QuickTime for Windows had this restriction, but I expected the Mac version wouldn't, since it is the default video player bundled with OS X. Apple really needs to kill of QuickTime Pro, lest they start receiving flak for it as the Mac's market share increases.
