Red Snapper: Page Grab Utility With Bite

Red SnapperRed Snapper is a small plugin for the Safari web browser that allows you quickly export the current webpage into tons of different formats (BMP, EXR, GIF, JP2, JPEG, PDF, PICT, PNG, PSD, SGI, TGA, TIFF).

It adds a cute Red Snapper icon to the left of your address bar which when clicked allows you to choose which file format to export to and where to save it. Unlike the PDF option in the print settings of Safari this will save a full rendering of the webpage, not just a cut down print version. This makes it ideal for presentations, client mock-ups etc.

The application is $8 with a 14 day trial available to download. I beg you to try this cute app out, it’s certainly got me interested and a purchase may be imminent! (Editor: That’s it, this application is replacing Paparazzi for me).

Thanks a lot for the heads up on this. Very cool little app. It may just replace Paparazzi for me as well!

Hey, you guys should also check out NetFixer, it’s a similar app that I told “Editor” about a couple of weeks ago. (Assuming “Editor” = Glenn)

Personally, I prefer not to install any so-called plug-ins for Safari, other than Inquisitor (which pwns). They’re all essentially InputManager hacks. I’ll stick to Paparazzi for now.

Oh crud, I want this app. Badly.

I use Paperatzzi right now. It’s cool, but there’s no .pdf support.
