I've actually been looking for something like this. My MacBook Pro quickly gets dirty. I occasionally find strands of my pet’s hair trapped in the keyboard.

Does it do more than just textedit?
I wonder, because if you type the right (or maybe WRONG) combination of keys, such as Cmd+Q, Cmd+Tab, Cmd+W, etc, it would switch away to another app that you could wreak havoc in.

This is nice, I usually just pop up textedit, but blanking the screen would help me find all those smudges that are hard to see when it's lit.
