The folks over Tapbots have released an update to their Twitter client for the iPhone and iPod touch. www.itube-stream.de.tl This update adds a couple of useful features. One of these features gives you the ability to add sleep time for its push notifications. This allows you set a block of time to turn off notifications from Twitter so that you can sleep easy and uninterrupted. Another useful feature is the ability to only receive notifications people that you follow. Thirdly, have you ever reported a spammer or blocked someone and had to live with the fact that their tweets were still polluting your timeline? www.anysim.net Well fret no mo because once you block

The iPad has been presented this week and alongside its introduction, iOS 4.3 made its appearance and will be shipped with the new iPad. Apple also announced that the iOS 4.3 software update will be available on the same day the new iPad will be on Apple Store tables and shelves: March 11. As you may know, iOS 4.3 will present a number of new features such as iTunes Home Sharing and possibly the most anticipated feature, the Personal Hotspot.

I think ebbinghaus is a LOT better than genius! And still free.

You also left out info managers like K.I.T./Yojimbo/DevonThink.. I use them extensively for keeping track of research - I used to use a bibliography manager as well, but I just could never integrate it into my work flow. Little notes in DevonThink always sufficed. "School" is a good assignment organizer as well.

And OmniOutliner rocks my socks off!

Andre,

This was originally posted on my blog a few months back, and felt it was appropriate for this blog as well. I gave credit in my post that it was reposted from my original blog.

It's not from here, it's from my personal blog.

I'll send another vote for OmniOutliner. I have so many people, who are used to taking notes with Word, look at my notes with a "WOW!!"

You said it right, outlines without the hassle.
It can be as simple or as customized as you'd like.

iFlash is great, especially for Vocabulary or memorizing the Periodic Table. OmniOutliner is also a great note-taker, much better than just a text editor.

Excellent recommendations. I constantly use OmniOutliner for my class notes, and without I don't know where I would be. I'm also quite fond of Assignment Planner. The widget insures I never miss a deadline.
