Server Upgrade Today
Due to the increasing popularity of macapper (and all of the downtime the last few days) we decided to take the plunge and order up a tougher web server to handle the growth. The new machine is compiling as I write this, and we should have plenty of room to breath with the new configuration: P4 3.6Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2GB Ram, 180GB SATA. I must hand it to the guys at XLHost as they had the server up (FreeBSD-6.2-RELEASE) within a few hours of receiving the build order. Nice.
I would expect the transition to go quite smooth aside from the lag involved in your DNS propagating. Be assured if you receive a service outage it is only temporary. Thank you for your patience

‘grats Macapper team! Being too popular is a great problem to have
Done. Everything went nice and smooth for a change. Whatever was causing mod_rewrite to sh*t the bed on the old server is not effecting this build. APC caching roxorz:
load averages: 0.01, 0.02, 0.00
@Miles, well done!
