I used that old feature quite a bit to organize my workflow and always have quick access to my Inbox (downloads). These people may very well get some money from me today. . . I tried the previous version last year and it did not run well on intel mac despite UB. the new features are definitely great. I am buying it. Most of the time, I go to the App's menu and select Hide others to hide all the other windows. When I want them back, I just click that icon in the dock. I can see where this would be useful, though.
