Transmit is a great app. It does what I want when I want it and it's easy to use.

Transmit plays very nice indeed ... if it connects to mainstream platforms. But if you want filetransfer connectivity to a more proprietary box, like a Tandem NonStop Server, then there is only one player in town: YummyFTP.
FTP clients like Transmit, CaptainFTP, CyberDuck ... will al fail miserably and end up with ugly crashes or blocking threads. In such environment YummyFTP is the only kid in town.

Transmit is feature rich and easy to use. If you are moving multiple file, though, Yummy is noticably faster and is also feature rich. Ain't it great to have to choose between two excellent apps?

Transmit and Yummy are the two best ftp clients on the mac, but I ended up choosing Transmit after demoing both for a while. I love live editing in both.

A truely great app. Love the drag-and-drop and the ability to quickly edit remote files. Really speeds up my workflow.

Will definitely be buying it once the trial period is over.

I use Yummy FTP, and haven't looked back. It's fast and reliable -- I liked it better than Transmit.
