I've used iGetter for download speeding and while I can't testify to the power of Speed Download, I can say that with iGetter, I'm getting up to 1.5MB per sec where on normal download I'm getting around 200-500kb per sec (15megabit connection).

Whilst not a major issue for a 5MB file, when you're downloading a 600Mb iso, it makes it worthwhile :)

I heard of this once before never tried it out but it sounds good just not for me. One of my favorite features is you can pause the download and continue once you un pause it from where it left off, you should mention that feature its very nice.

Merlin talked about this on MBW a while back and I've been curious. After reading this, I think I'll go try it out.
