CSSEdit 2.5 Released

CSSEdit iconWhile they may have had a bit of their thunder stolen by the guys at Panic, MacRabbit has released version 2.5 of CSSEdit. If you don’t know how to code CSS by hand, or just can’t be bothered, this app provides the best visual solution for editing CSS I have ever seen. This version adds a number of user requested features including:

  • Enhancements to the X-Ray.
  • Innovative Selector Builder.
  • iPhoto-like HUD inspector panes.
  • Tabs, which let me tell you, are some of the nicest going around.

CSSEdit 2.5 is a free upgrade for registered users of CSSEdit 2.x, otherwise it’ll set you back $29.95. Pick it up here.

March 23rd, 2007: MacApper had a giveaway for this wonderful app. Other givaways have since come and gone, but this one has never been announced as to whom won… Any news?

I was wondering the same thing myself

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant app. File under “you don’t realise that you need it or how amazing it is until you actually use it”.

Such a great implementation of tabs too. I’m happily using CSSEdit with Coda :)

I’ve been using this for a year now, and strongly advocate it. I can’t see Coda doing anything that would make me switch.
