The Mac Pak Application Bundle

macpak.pngRemember the MacHeist bundle? It included 10 great apps and cost around $50. On May 1st, the MacHeist bundle could be overshadowed by The Mac Pak. The Mac Pak is another software bundle that has been put together by Mark Howson, the man who began MacAppaDay. Mark says that the bundle will be released on the first of May, and the price will begin at $30 for ten games and applications. Then, each day the price will rise, so you will want to buy quickly if you are interested. I found some facts on the MacPak twitter that sounded very enticing to me:

  • $288.86 of software
  • No MacHeist bundle duplicates
  • No MacZot Friday the 13th Duplicates
  • No apps with a MacUpdate rating less than 4.5/5
  • No Widgets

Check The Mac Pak on May 1st to see the apps revealed and to buy a bundle. It is looking good (and cheap) so far, but I will have to see the apps for myself.

Also don’t forget our own Switcher’s Giveaway (only 2 days left!), the largest FREE OS X application giveaway, ever!

I am gonna guess the games will include Frenzic and Quinn. Sounds like an interesting bundle and I’m glad this idea has fully caught on.

Glad to hear there’s no dupes from previous packages.

As while the last Maczot bundle was well worth it, it sucked having so many useless licenses.

hey, I’m confused by the page. so is it 5 bucks or 30 as reported? the link to their forums don’t go anywhere. Seems a bit sketchy.

We had some technical difficulties earlier. Everything works fine now!

Not sure whether to buy it or not…
I think if I’m going to buy it, I should do so when its $30 or never.
And they will probably reveal the best apps at the end when it is $75
