MacApper Switcher’s Giveaway: Just 12 Hours left!

MacApper Switcher's Giveaway is nearly closed!Alright MacAppers we are in the closing stretch to get your contest submissions in for the Switcher’s Giveaway. Over the last 24 hours we saw a couple dozen high quality entries come in, using some creative ideas I never would have thought of. Wow guys I am amazed! Another thing I think is cool is that we have received submissions from several non-English speaking locales including India, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Iceland, Viet Nam, China, and Thailand.

As I write this there are only about 12 hours left, so get your entries in as soon as you can. As it stands there are around 125 submissions, with about 15% of them using some form of rich media. Remember we are picking two winners to receive over 23 apps and a t-shirt – one for the best entry and one chosen randomly. That means that right now every submission has a 1:125 chance to win HUGE.

If you have been away and just caught wind of this contest now, You still have plenty of time to get an entry in, but you had better get cracking. Good luck everyone and thanks so much for those participating. Choosing a winner will not be easy!

Thanks Vic. Well that’s it, that’s all guys. I was surprised because in the last hour we got 3 new video entries and some really creative PDFs and other rich media. We also got about a dozen standard entries and some of them are really interesting. I knew some of you guys were holding out till the end. Nice!

I spoke with Alec and I think the winners will be announced this weekend. It’s gonna be really tough to choose the best one :/

    Good luck!

Will you put more than just the winners up on the page ?
I’m really interested to see the other entries, this contest has been so much fun :D Maybe you could make up some categories without prizes, like funniest, most heart-warming, most fanboish, best production etc. that’d be fun. (and even more work for you ;) )
Thanks for this fantastic contest and good luck with the winner picking business.

I like Jens idea. Not many of us will be actual winners, but we may all gain something by learning from the others.
