TabStop: A Tab User’s Best Friend

TabStop iconHow many times have you been browsing in Safari with 10 to 20 important tabs open? Then, before you know it, instead of hitting Command-W, you hit Command-Q and quit Safari. If that has happened to you even once, then TabStop is for you. TabStop is a SIMBL plug-in for Safari, like that of other popular plug-ins PithHelmet and Saft. The real life-saver of this app is the popup window you get when trying to quit, it gives you that last chance to redeem yourself. This feature has been available in Firefox for quite some time, but for you die hard Safari users TabStop allows you to have the same functionality.

TabStop

I highly recommend it. If you’ve never had the misfortune to lose all your tabs, then this will help it stay that way. TabStop is freeware, but if you like it and find it useful, it doesn’t hurt to donate.

I was looking for something just like this and came across Saft. It has this feature, plus can reload all your browser windows and tabs after a crash (which is why I was searching for such a program).
