Personally, I think all the people whining over in the tubular comments are deluded. They paid for a pre-order of the product, not for a beta; the beta was thrown in as a bonus. If the full version of the app comes out and they're still not satisfied, then maybe they have a point, but right now, it's still IN DEVELOPMENT. In no way have they been refused what they paid for.

Why? It's his first hard to do app, and he's doing it all alone. Snapshooter wasn't as hard, and he wanted a challenge. Say what you will, that he shouldn't have done the pre-orders until later, but still. Once it gets done, I expect people's opinions of it and him to change.

Don't get your hopes up for Ground Control. Tubular is a joke. Most people who brought want there money back. Including me!!!!! I've beta tested many apps and Tubular is no beta more like a Alpha with polished UI. This guy has pissed off every Tubular customer with his false statements of Tubular abililities and every sparse update comes with more false statements. Don't believe me? Go through the comments on this blog http://tubularapp.com/blog/

This guy is over stating what he can do. He should have stuck with less demanding apps like Snapshooter.

I do not diss developers like this.
But guy has got to learn he can not lie to his customers.
I will not be buying any Steve Streza products again.

Keep in mind, it's still in it's beta stages. One of the largest roadblocks was converting from embedding YouTube videos into the app, to playing them in Quicktime format. Only one person is making it, so it's kind of a challenge. Not to mention that everytime YouTube changes their API at all, it breaks.

If you ask me, I would spend less on the pre-order, which I know is pretty cool already (I've seen it), and wait until all the bugs get ironed out at the final release, so I spend less at the end, and the developer has more money to spend on it earlier in it's development cycle.

Just a FYI for those interested, you may want to hold off on purchasing Tubular. I've been following this app for awhile and it seems like its been littered with bugs, slow development, etc.

Just browse through Tubularapp.com and read all the comments from users which document this.

Then make a decision if you wish to part with your cash for this app.
