Awaken Giveaway Winners
Several days ago, MacApper spoke with Awaken creator and indie Mac developer Jerry Brace. Thanks to Jerry, we decided to give three licenses to the best ideas for Awaken, and another two to some great wake up songs. The contest was judged by both Jerry and several members of the MacApper staff. It did take us a while, and some of the results were pretty good, but I’m glad we’ve finally reached a verdict. Here are the winners who came up with the best ideas for Awaken, in no particular order.
Max – Using voice recognition to control the alarm
Danny – Using the SMS (sudden motion sensor) on portable Macs to turn off the alarm
Sam Ryan – More colors for the transparent clock
And here are the winners for the best wake-up song, again in no particular order.
Jack Nagel – Sleeping Lessons by The Shins
Van Waals – Wake and Smell the Coffe by the Cranberries
