I didn't realize you would lose IM if a telephone call came through. The way people talk about their WM smartphones standard IM systems, it's like they're perfect in every way. There have to be some compromises made in all applications. One thing for certain I sure wouldn't tolerate a cellphone that was crashing all the time. Nobody needs that. So many cellphone geeks want the iPhone totally open. I don't think that's such a good idea. I believe that Apple should be concerned about application stability. Especially while the iPhone is so new. Just give Apple a little more time work out things. At least wait until Leopard is released. I think Apple really designed the iPhone to run some mobile version of Leopard. At least I was able to understand a little more about IM.
