It's great and it's easy to design a webpage in Rapid Weaver, in fact you can design without templates also. But... you need to have the plug-ins to achieve that goal. as it is you are very limited and that's something they don't tell you in their site. so good luck. you will love that app, I can bet that.

I am looking into Rapidweaver, I have never done a website before and am looking forward to the adventure. I have found a template in RWthemes that I would like to use. Is it as easy as buying the theme & Rapid weaver and creating? Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you

How do you change the size of your page titles?

I want to make them longer but then they spill over onto the next title

For an example...

http://www.4aceproductions.com/index.html

My educational program title flow over onto Contact Brian Richards

Can we change the format in some way???

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tim,

You couldn't be more wrong. iWeb is barely customizable compared to RW. RW gives you so many more options it's not even funny. If you're even considering switching, you should download the demo and give RW a try.

I was using iWeb for a blog/photo site and found it to be miserably slow and difficult to use compared to RW.

I'd love to see a comparison between iWeb and RW. I currently use iWeb but would consider switching to RW if someone could show me why I should. It seems to me that iWeb is more customizable, but perhaps I'm wrong.

I do webdesign and for that I use Freeway, Dreamweaver, Flash and Coda. The day I discover Rapidweaver my life changed, I mostly design as always but every now and then I build a page on RW and it is the most easy app for fast response and updating a page with the same quality and stability as the other designs worked on other apps, it is a great app for beginners and pros... In fact iWeb is a bad copy of it. Download it and enjoy it!

Do you a have links for the apps you describe? and links to the RW tutorials and videos would be nice...

I highly recommend fokls using RW also check out the supported plug-ins (ink to from ReaMac's site) -- these greatly extend the range of pages you can easily control from within the program.

One I like that isn't an explicit plug-in is RAGE Software's MapDesign.
