nope, still PPC compiled. Works fine under rosetta, only needs to be run once. This app is great and i love it for removing Hardware Growler from the dock. For the record, all its doing is updating a plist file inside the app’s package.

Yeah, his uses are lame, but I find this app useful for things like MenuShade, Shades, Transmit, and Stattoo, all which are more like daemons and don’t have the option to be just in the menubar. Please update it for 10.4 though. Thanks!

He is using Dockless to keep other apps out of his dock as well, so you can’t fault him for adding Dashboard and Quicksilver to the list.

I use it to keep iPulse and Spamsieve out.

The very 1st thing i do with my new mac accounts is throwing Dashboard off the Dock.

Neither Dashboard nor Quicksilver need to appear in the Dock, even without Dockless. Hold down the Dashboard icon in the Dock and choose ‘Remove from Dock’ to get rid of it. Quicksilver’s application preferences contains the option to turn off ‘Show icon in dock’. Dockless is best used for apps that really ought to be menu bar items or background processes that don’t have these options…
