No it didn’t. Dune II may have had defense towers, and I know for sure that both C&C and Warcraft did.

I think its partially due to the fact that i know i can do better that keeps me trying. I can get 9000+ on hard now. The best way to keep people from stealing your strategy is by selling everything in the last round so when they look at it, there is nothing on your grid!

I too am fairly addicted to the single player version, playing in ‘Normal’ mode. Can’t wait to try the multi-player version with other players once it comes out of beta. When is soon?!
