They did this when my dad bought a macbook under my big bros name (goes to college) and we got the ipod nano from da store n stuff then some little time later....the new (now curret) ipod came out. lol we werent angry or anything but im just saying if u want a newer ipod nano wait just a lil bit after September 16 and voila! new generation ipod rolls oiut and im pretty sure this time YOULL be angry becuz this new generation ipod rollout will have SOOO many new features than the current one soo...hold tight my friends!! lol this is further proof of a new ipod rollout. If they were serious about this, they would simply subtract the rrp of an ipod nano at the time of purchase, not at some variable point in the distant future, which is then only given out at their discretion. The deal looked good. They asked us to send in the reciept with the rebate. We got an email saying our claim wasn't processed and we had to call them within 5 business days of the email. We call. They ask us to send the same stuff. Rebate goes through. Another failed email. Another goes through email. I'd really like to know what apple is up to with that 5 day response limit. I was on vacation when the one for the free printer came. So, I just bought a $130 printer. I wasn't very impressed with this program.
