I’m Jeff from above with an update. FYI, I’m using Schoolhouse this semester and backing up frequently. Schoolhouse is a little fussy with data input. You need to press “enter” once you’ve entered an assignment title or it’ll disappear. I’ve been very happy with it so far.

Tyler & Jeff,
From what I’ve read in the comments on ‘I Use This’ – http://osx.iusethis.com/app/schoolhouse – there seems some comments saying that the developer is ‘Very responsive to feedback’ so it’s probably worth sending the developer what has happened!
There is an e-mail link on the left hand column, so it’s a first port of call if nothing else!

Whenever I select an asignment that I’ve created and try to associate it with a course, the program errors out and quits. I think the program would be fantastic to use. Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

I started using schoolhouse2 this semester. Jeff, there is an option to make back ups which I do every so often. I’ve never shared your experince, sorry! – This is a must have app for college students I think. I used to have to keep my school stuff on my Task list and iCal (or Outlook when I used a PC) and sometimes things got lost. Not so much anymore. For anyone who works and is a student, SchoolHouse makes it possible to live in two different universes at one time, while not crossblending the tasks of either. Great software, and great review as usual.

I just wish you didn’t have to have SchoolHouse to use the classcast function.

I was primed to use SchoolHouse but after entering class information it crashed and I lost what little work I’d done. I hope others have a different experience but I wasn’t going to trust it with my school life.
