The existing partitions still work - you just can't launch Boot Camp Assistant any more. There is a really simple work around - just set your Mac's time to before Sep 30, 2007 - worked like a charm for me.

I don't see how Apple could manage to make your BC partition inaccessible after a certain date. There'd be a HUGE backlash, for one thing, plus the simple fact of the matter is they'd have no right. It'd be like holding your data for ransom.

I think Andrew has the right of it - you'll still be able to access your BootCamp partition, you just won't be able to create more.

Of course, you could always set your computer's clock back and see what that gets you.

From what I understand your current Boot Camp partitions should still work, you just won't be able to create any new ones. I guess we'll find out...

I wonder if when Leopard is released if the existing windows installations will also be made inaccessible through bootcamp 1.4 on Tiger. (I hope not!)
