Boot Camp 1.2 Passes its Expiry Date

Boot Camp, the amazing software that allows you to run Windows XP or other operating systems natively on your Mac has come to the end of its Beta period.
Users currently using Boot Camp Beta 1.2 or earlier will need to upgrade to version 1.4, if they wish to continue using the Beta after support for this version ended on September 30, 2007. So if you’re trying to create a new Boot Camp partition and it just isn’t working, now’s the time to upgrade to version 1.4.
Current users running version 1.3 or 1.4 will have until the release of Leopard to continue their Beta usage. The only way to continue using Boot Camp after this period is to upgrade to Leopard, which will include the final version. Not such a bad deal I guess, since we don’t know many Mac users who aren’t planning on upgrading. Can’t say the same for the latest versions of some other popular operating systems…
