Leopard Coverage: Leopard Launch on Flickr

Apple store images from FlickrBrowsing through Flickr earlier today, I discovered a lot of photos of the Leopard launch from around the world. The images really made me wish I could have been in line myself today, but then again from the look of the size of some of the queues, maybe it’s more fun just gandering at them from my desk.

Without further ado, here is the Leopard launch, from six different locations. Special thanks to the Flickr users for providing these great images.

Ginza Store, Tokyo

Flickr user Shingo Okamoto attended the launch at the Ginza store in Tokyo, Japan. Remember, this is one of the most glamarous Apple retail store in Japan, so it was bound to be crowded.

Ginza Store

Legacy Village Store, Ohio

Flickr user imagine1 was at the Legacy Village store when Leopard was launched. He also managed to capture candid shots of some of the staff.

Legacy Village Store

UTC Store, San Diego

Flickr user donabelandewen (isn’t that two users?) was (were?) waiting in line at the UTC store. Looks like another long queue as well.

UTC Store

Natick Apple Store, Massachusetts

Flickr user TalkingTree was also waiting in line at the Natick Apple Store in Massachusetts. What to do while waiting? Snap some images!

Natick Store

San Francisco Apple Store, California

Flickr user Gadget has quite a few covert photos taken from the Apple Store in San Francisco. Looks like quite a busy place complete with coffee and water cart for those in line. Nice!

San Francisco Store

UK Apple Stores, Birmingham & London

And finally flickr users ash matadeen and Christiano Betta bring us images from Apple stores in Birmingham and London. Looks like another huge turnout in the UK as well.

UK Apple Stores

Big thanks to all Flickr users showcased here. We’ll be publishing another round of photos later today, so if you went to a launch party yesterday, give us a link in the comments.

*Editor: That’s all the photos I have. Hope you guys liked them!

Aloha from Honolulu! I’ve enjoyed the world tour of Leopard via Flickr as well. My set from Hawaii’s flagship store at Ala Moana Center can be found here:

I even lifecasted the launch live:

    Enjoy Leopard!

“Remember, this is the only official Apple retail store in Japan, so it was bound to be crowded.”

Actually, Apple has a number of official stores in Japan, and quite sexy ones too (one has a beautiful curved glass staircase).

I was at the Ginza store this summer. The elevator was awesome as it had no buttons and just stopped on all floors - very Apple.
