		<description>I had the same issue with iShowU, it was not possible to get a smooth screencast with high frame rates. I switched to SnapzPro X and am absolutely thrilled by the performance.

I think has something to do with the way iShowU works. It encodes the screencasts on the fly and as far as I can tell SnapzPro X as well as Screencast do the encoding after you&#039;ve recorded your screen.
