I think yummy is good but not the best.
I use FileZilla, and it’s even much better than Yummy, becouse its free.
They also have Mac version.

Just purchased V1.8.2 after comparing speeds against Cyberduck, Transmit, Interarchy and Flow. It would appear that Yummy is still the undisputed king of Mac FTP clients because it kicked collective butt on both up and download times. Superb piece of software.

Indeed amazing. All this time, had stalled on setting up my sites on a new ftp client and today, when the one I was using still hadn’t uploaded 42MB in 2100 files in 90 sub-folders after 6 hours of uploading – I caved in and gave Yummy a shot and can’t believe my eyes. Fast would be an understatement. Best software purchase that I’ve made in a long time.

Yummy is a well-engineered FTP client. Jason, its, developer is wonderfully responsive. The automated scheduling feature, coupled with Growl notification, puts it streets ahead of the competition. It’s one conspicuous weakness is lack of WebDAV support, I greatly hope we can look forward to that in a future version, Jason ought to place this at the top of his priority list.

I love Yummy FTP because it’s so fast and easy to use, very mac-like. Unfortunately, I had to purchase another FTP client as well so I could use it with amazon s3 (transmit). It’s sad Yummy doesn’t support that

I’ve tested almost all the FTP clients for Mac, and Yummy is the best by a far margin. Why do people bother with the slower Transmit? If you want the fastest, friendliest, and overall best FTP client, buy Yummy FTP by Yummy Software.

Yummy FTP is the fastest (and in my opinion, overall best) FTP client out there. I really don’t understand why more people use Transmit over Yummy FTP.

I concur…Yummy FTP rocks. It’s the only FTP client that works consistently well w/ my modded Xbox. It’s fast, lightweight and has most of the bells and whistles of the other FTP clients. You can create droplets (called Aliases in Yummy) and the quicklook support is sweet. I highly recommend this.

Ditto here. Best FTP client I’ve used so far and I have test a lot of them. Yummy is flawless for my need. And the dev is very active and dedicated to his app.
