Sure you could use encrypted disk images…. that you can’t encrypt up to 448 bit and won’t open on windows. PGP is ridiculously expensive (correct me if im wrong but I just saw prices at a minimum of around £50 ($100))
GNUPG requires that your a bit of a wiz and can build the software yourself which is over and above what a casual user is going to want to do.
BitClamp is meant to be quick, easy and flexible drop in a couple of files hit encrypt and your done.

Hmmmm… I can give you money for this or I can use encrypted disk images (default in OS X), PGP (serious commercial software), or GNU-PG (free OS software with hundreds of people checking the code is secure).

Good luck with that 15% discount.
