If you are using Leopard, or have an iPhone, you can sync address book with Yahoo. It just so happens that Yahoo supports full CSV export and Gmail supports CSV import... so, simply sync your Address Book with a Yahoo account (create a new one if you don't have one) and then export the contacts to CSV.... Sign into your Gmail account and import the CSV file. It works flawlessly and you get all the fields, not just name & email. Here’s a tip that worked much better for me…
