I don't disagree there will likely be a sub-notebook introduced; I'm just not convinced that the "air" reference has anything to do with it, google cache or no. My reference to "Pretty much confirmed" was concerning the fact that we really have a lot of circumstantial information from dubious sources, and very little solid information, so at best all I can muster to give reasonably is "strong guess."

Apple's done very well, for all the leaks, to keep detailed info out of the rumor mill.

@Brian: Well the Google cache reference to MacBook Air you're referring to was posted after I wrote and submitted this article, so you will have to forgive my lack of time travel abilities. Anyways you're right though that the reference pretty much clinches it for the new notebook. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks a new notebook will be announced. I guess we'll all see very soon what 'in the air' is referring to, but a new flash memory enabled subnotebook is looking like a safe bet to me.

Some pretty crufty (read bad) logic surrounding this Air business. The Google cache, easily, could be coincidental, and should be assumed as such. There Could be a MacBook Air; MacBook Air could be a WiMax card or similar; or the Air reference could be unrelated to MacBooks at all. All of these are euqally plausible and supported by logic. The "Pretty much confirmed" bit strikes me as... uninformed.

Thanks Christi. Yeah I came across these guys claiming to actually be streaming the keynote live, but as many people have pointed out, that's pretty much impossible.
I have heard a couple claims of people attempting to stream this live, but I think it's safe to write this off as BS (no link for you!) Expect the keynote to be available on here Apple's site shortly after it occurs - immediately after which it should appear everywhere else including torrent sites.
There's always someone who is writing down what is being announced as it happens and posting pictures along the way. I don't have a link either but just search for "Macworld 2008 keynote live" on Tuesday and there should be plenty of links. Some are better than others so check around and you're sure to find one that keeps up with the keynote pretty well.
