It'd crash (usually after I'd done some typing and went to save) a lot and it just generally felt cheap. I used Nisus Writer a lot under MacOS 9, and had high hopes for NWE. In the end I went with Mellel because it was more stable. Is the latest version of Nisus any more stable? Of course I do most of my writing in a plain text editor these days just because I don't really care about most of the features in word processors.
