“Latitude” Browser Concept
Sebastiaan de With is a very talented graphic designer, and he often posts some really nice articles on his blog, Cocoia. The other day he posted a mockup of his “Dream Browser,” and now, about a week later, developers have contacted him about making his idea into a real application.
The browser’s main inspiration is the iTunes sidebar. That list includes all of your tabs, bookmarks, RSS feeds, downloads, and more.

Other fresh ideas include putting web videos into a Quick Look-style pop-out window, and a Time Machine themed History interface. This is still very much in the “idea” stage, so don’t expect anything to come out of it very soon, but I post the mockups here out of interest. Hopefully they’ll become a reality in the not-so-distant future.
Clutter-free interface and pop-out video.

Time Machine inspired History viewing

To see more screenshots and to read more about this idea, check out Sebastiaan’s orginal post and his follow up. Would you use this browser? What do you see that you really like? What would you change?

I can’t wait for this to be developed. The mockups look awesome.
Sounds like http://www.spacetime.com/ with a few Leopard enhancements.
I would most definitely use it.
The idea of creating a browser simular to the finder sounds cool, but the TimeMachine for history, prbably not a great idea and pop-outs in HUD windows would require alot of smart code.
The Time Machine History looks like what we might see a future version of Browseback by Smile on My Mac:

So if that’s what you want, you CAN have it now!
Hell Yeah!
That Would Be Awsome!!!!!
