I finaly got my site up. But the server is saying I don't have the correct index.html file. Everything looks good when I go thru Fetch to check out the server. Not sure why my index page is not coming up. I was asked to use port 21, but pages show they are coming from port 80. I would think I should not have to deal with port settings.

I am having trouble publishing my website using FTP. I had no trouble publishing to my .mac account. Are other RapidWeaver users having the same problem. Error box says User and Password incorrect.

To publish to a personal domain using .Mac and rapidweaver, I had to input my personal domain site address in Set up/ general/ Web Address, using the full http://www. Then I used the default publishing setting for .Mac and personal domain. Rapidweaver cannot seem to visit the published site directly, but I can access it. However I have to change the set up again before any new publish. It took me a very long time to figure what was happening, but this seems to work.

Figured I'd update since the RW team released an alpha of v4.01 trying to solve the upload problem, at least for me it seems solved. Others are still working through the issue, but for others it maybe related to some 3rd party add-on's.

I'm happy RW is working correctly again.

I really like the easy of use and the expandability of RapidWeaver. Just be aware that many users are having problems with v4.01 when it comes to publishing to our domains. I don't doubt the RealMac team will solve it, but it has been going on for a while now and the frustration level is getting close to a boiling point with many users on their forums.

I haven't given up on it, but I have a tough time recommending it to my friends until they resolve the problem.
