I think my preference would be Pages, except that Mellel allows me to switch styles using the keyboard and I often write documents where I put quoted materials into a specific style. Mellel has other nice touches which made me prefer it over Nisus Writer Express. I didn't update to the latest version of Nisus because they never seem to be able to fix the 'columns' feature. I have Mellel and use it but not all the time.
