Newsfire coming to iPhone/iPod Touch

Newsfire, will be coming to the iPhone. This week David Watanabe posted a teaser on his blog. But this teaser was simply a screenshot of an icon. Hopefully we will hear more about this application soon.

We have reviewed Newsfire OS X and we found it to be a great RSS reader. Newsfire OS X is now available for free here.

I love the mac version. Just hope there will be a way to sync what’s read or not. That’s a problem I have using rss on multiple machines and the only reason I don’t use any rss reader on my iphone is because of that.

Johan, try doing your feeds through NewsGator. This is a syncing service. You can set NetNewsWire to sync with NewsGator, so if you read something on your desktop, it’ll send a message to NewsGator that its been read, and if you fire up NNW on your iPod, that article won’t show up. Works like a charm.
