MacWorld ‘09: iPhone Nano and iWork ‘09 Leaked

UPDATE: The iPhone Nano screenshot is fake (see comments).

The Apple website has leaked the announcement of iWork ‘09 and the iPhone Nano. iWork ‘09 appeared in the “Top Downloads” section of Apple’s website and evidence of the iPhone Nano appeared in the fine print at the bottom of the iPhone page.

How can an unreleased piece of software end up in the Top Downloads section? Or should we interpret Top Downloads as Downloads-one-shouldn’t-miss?

I don’t buy the iPhone Nano part. Not that it won’t show, but that it was seen on the page. What page exactly was it seen on?

Nice. You guys posting crap like this gives bloggers a bad name.

Also – Niels, Apple does stuff like this all the time. Ever notice the top items on the Apple start page in the new section down at the bottom? The top items (with the exception of the actual top 10 list) are nowhere near the top items sold. Look at nonfiction audiobooks for example. The page doesn’t list Dave Ramsey’s book under top nonfiction, but in terms of overall audiobooks sold, it is near the top according to the iTunes page.
