2.2.1 Firmware released for iPhone and iPod Touch

While not a major update, Apple released version 2.2.1 of their iPhone and iPod Touch firmware today. Fixes include improved stability in Safari, saved images from Mail displaying correctly in Saved Photos, and the skipping of some Apple Lossless (ALAC) audio files during playback.

While fixes are nice, new features are better. What were you hoping for in the latest firmware update?

Not much apart from fine tuning for speed and stability since the change is in the last decimal place. 2.3 can’t be that far away.

an ability to delete songs/photos and other files. it’d really save space if you decide later that you don’t like a song after all or don’t want someone to be able to see a picture that you uploaded through your pc

    a video function ofcourse
