Games Wielding Almost Half Of The iPad
As Apple is in the midst of testing of the applications that they allowed to be submitted to the App Store, almost half of all the apps that were turned in for review was inducted into the games category, while books, the most talked about aspect of the iPad, only wield about three percent, believe it or not.
Flurry chimed in with statistics that display that the landscape for applications on the iPad was dominated by game developers. Second to that on the chart is “entertainment” applications with only about 14%, giving gaming a 30% spread against its chaser. VP of Marketing at Flurry, Peter Farago, states that the application seen on the iPhone OS 3.2 software placed on the iPad may have been likely used for testing purposes with the new hardware. Flurry is, however, unable to confirm the actual number of apps there are or what device they are intended for.
Flurry was the first to mention the iPhone OS 3.2 software before the iPad was even announced through the analytics information that it gathered from devices that were not released to the public. Many sources, at the time, said that the unannounced device was going to be running iPhone OS 4. The trail of the iPad being used in the wild traces back to October of 2009. Since that time, the testing increased significantly up to the debut of the iPad.

After it was unveiled to the world, production in the App Store tripled as developers added the iPad to their App Store plans along with the iPhone and iPod touch. Flurry uncovered from the groups that were using there analytics that from a little bit before the iPad event to the end of January there were some 1,600+ new projects launched for the App Store compared to the whole month of December that produced under 600 new developments. The developments in January continued to surge through the February and early March months.
Apple has definitely seen the possibilities of the iPad, calling it a new gold rush for developers as the 10-inch brain-spawn of Apple has seriously garnered the interest of existing and a slew of additional developers in the iPhone SDK program and expanding the revolutionary App Store to new horizons, with what has the potential to be some really breathtaking applications.

Did everybody now when the update ios 4.3 for iphone4 comes?
There have been some rumors going about that Apple has pulled AirPrint from the final release of iOS 4.2. Apparently, a rumor came about yesterday claiming that Apple has axed the feature from the iOS 4.2 final release because of some unforeseen circumstances. Distraught by the speculated exemption of the features, a customer decided to shoot Steve Jobs a letter about it to get a further understanding of the matter. Steve replied saying that AirPrint has not been cut from the final version of the anticipated software update.
