iPhone OS 4 Bringing Exposé-like Multitasking

AppleInsider chimed in with some information from people who are familiar with the Mac OS and iPhone OS on how Apples latest implementation of the iPhone firmware will display features like that of Exposé of the Mac OS platform to manage multiple third-party applications being ran concurrently on the  system. Based on the information that it has received from its source, the site states that the function would be invoked by pressing the Home button on the iPhone twice which will then bring up a collection of icons that represent the current running applications that the user can choose from.

Sling Media is Hard at Work Developing SlingPlayer for iPad

Reportedly, Sling Media, makers of SlingPlayer, is in the process of developing a higher resolution experience in the wake of the iPad debut. However, they stated that it is obvious that they wont have the app ready for the iPad release. Sling Media also mentioned:

When it makes a noticeable difference in quality, we will definitely provide higher resolution streaming. The iPad is a good example of a device where we are hard at work on this, but unfortunately it won’t be there at the April launch.
