Apple Approves Google Voice
Been a long time coming, and many people have been waiting for this. Cupertino has given the OK for Google’s official Google Voice application to be placed in the App Store for download. Google had anticipation of releasing the application for iOS, but Apple decided not to give way for Google’s app for their call forwarding service, stating that the software was “duplicating features that come with the iPhone”, however, they initially stated that they weren’t rejecting nor approving the app, it was merely under further dissection. With the new guidelines made for app development for iOS streamlined to speed up and increase App Store approval performance, it was more than expected by experts that the Google Voice application would be granted approval.

Apple Acquires Polar Rose

You may have seen their work and ideas on YouTube (which we will provide a link). The company specializes in facial recognition and have some really incredible on how to use the tech. Safari Exploit Pokes Its Head Out Again
Earlier in the year, a security expert by the name of Jeremiah Grossman discovered a nasty little security hole in Apple’s Safari web browser that gave hackers the potential to invade Macs and obtain personal information from the AutoFill feature of the software. Apple responded that they were aware of the situation and have been already cooking up a fix. Shortly after that announcement, Cupertino released a security update to the software. All seemed well and good after that point, that is, until now. Jeremiah has found yet another exploit in the software, however, this time around it requires the user to input a certain keystroke for the exploit to become affective.

AppleTV and iOS
Some new information just got delivered that confirms Apple’s new Apple TV is indeed capable of running iOS. After some combing through the system, it was discovered that Apple TV uses the same exact codebase as the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. So, what does this mean exactly? Was Apple experimenting with the platform on the device? Did they hold off on it until some later point in time? Is it magically going to make your television set touch screen (this last one is a joke). We don’t really know what to say about this, but we do know that it has re-ignited debate on whether Cupertino is really planning to bring the App Store to your living room.
