iOS 4.2: Beta 3
Just got the word that Apple has released the third beta for iOS 4.2 to developers along with the corresponding iOS software development kit for the iPad, iPhone and iPod. Apple decided to let devs get their hands on this two weeks after the second beta for the mobile operating system.
Being that it is fresh out the oven, there hasn’t been any discoveries as of yet. We will keep you updated on anything new.
Update
Some new findings have been seen in the new beta for the iOS 4.2 software update set to be released in a couple of weeks. Developers have been combing through and have found that Apple has added new text/multimedia messaging alert tones. Cupertino has also made some additional tweaks to system animations. The ability to toggle Mail, Calendar, Keyboard and lock sounds through Settings has also been added. AirPlay, the feature that let’s you stream content to multiple devices, has been pulled from some aspects of the software. Not sure what that’s about, but whatever it is, it’s likely temporary and will be put back into place before the public release of the software.

Did everybody now when the update ios 4.3 for iphone4 comes?
There have been some rumors going vabout that Apple has pulled AirPrint from the final release of iOS 4.2. Apparently, a rumor came about yesterday claiming that Apple has axed the feature from the iOS 4.2 final release because of some unforeseen circumstances. Distraught by the speculated exemption of the features, a customer decided to shoot Steve Jobs a letter about it to get a further understanding of the matter. Steve replied saying that AirPrint has not been cut from the final version of the anticipated software update.
