Twitter Updates to 3.3.1
Twitter has updated their iPhone client to version 3.3.1. The update states that it fixes crashing that has been caused by launching with location services on. 3.3.1 also updates the new “Quick Bar” so that set by default, the bar doesn’t overlap over the tweets in your timeline. This version also improves performances for those who use Twitter for iOS with multiple accounts. Security fixes are also included.

iMovie and GarageBand for iPad
In the wake of the iPad 2 release, Apple has released iMovie and GarageBand for iPad on to the App Store. These two applications have been big talk on the Internet lately due to their depth and function. Both applications are priced at $4.99.

Apple Releases Safari 5.0.4
Alongside the release of the iOS software, Cupertino has also let loose Safari 5.0.4. The new software brings a bundle of tweaks that will improve performance, stability, and security of the Internet browsing application.

Real Racing/Infinity Blade Updated for iPad 2
With the release of the iPad 2 this week, developers have already took it upon themselves to make updates to their products that utilize the newly packed power of the iPad 2. Australian developer Firemint updated their popular driving simulation application Real Racing for the new device specifically.

Adobe Introduces “Wallaby” Flash to HTML5 Converter
A while back during the height of the Apple/Adobe Flash fiasco, Adobe demonstrated a new software that could convert Flash video into HTML5 format, allowing for optimal performance on mobile devices such as the iPhone and iPad. At the time of the demo, Adobe didn’t guarantee that the software would hit public beta. However, Adobe has launched a prerelease to the software dubbed “Wallaby”.
Apple Releases Java Update for Leopard and Snow Leopard
Apple this week released a pair of Java updates for both Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard. The update administers patches that remedies some vulnerabilities in the software as well as increasing reliability and compatibility of the software.

Apple To Hold Event For iOS 5 And MobileMe Remodel?
We have been hearing some rumors that Apple intends on holding an event that will focus on the next major release of the iOS series, iOS 5. Along with that rumor, we have been hearing that Cupertino will also be showcasing the remodel version of MobileMe. A MobileMe revamp has been the topic of discussion on the Net, speculating that Apple will present the service with advanced syncing capabilities and make it free of charge to use.
Adobe Releases Flash 10.3 Beta with Preferences Integration
With the “Wallaby” release made this week, Adobe has also released the beta version of Flash 10.3. The new software introduces new features like enhanced privacy and setting controls that integrate with System Preference.

Users now have a simpler way to clear local storage from the browser settings interface – similar to how users clear their browser cookies today. Flash Player 10.3 integrates control of local storage with the browser’s privacy settings in Mozilla Firefox 4, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and higher, and future releases of Apple Safari and Google Chrome.
Pioneer Implements AirPlay and iOS Into New App
Pioneer today announced that it will be placing on the market a new receiver (one of eight) that can utilize Apple’s new AirPlay feature as an output option from iOS devices. The VSX-1021 can be configured to join a home network and play content from an iPhone, iPod, iPad, or Mac.
“Once the VSX-1021 is connected to a home network through Ethernet or Wi-Fi using Pioneer’s optional AS-WL300 wireless LAN adapter (sold separately), AirPlay lets consumers stream their favorite songs to the receiver from iTunes on Mac and PC, or their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. AirPlay requires iTunes 10.1 or later and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.2.
Apple Releases iTunes 10.2.1
Apple this week unleashed iTunes 10.2.1 to the public via Software Update. The release of iTunes 10.2 was just last week to support iOS 4.3. iTunes 10.2.1 can be downloaded right from the iTunes download page on Apple’s website as well at apple.com/iTunes.
Not exactly clear on what changes have been made since the release of 10.2 last week as the description for the software remains the same. Presumably, it is probably some minor bugs fixes and stability tweaks made in the app.
