News: 12 Hours Left for MacUpdate Bundle

News: Hulu Releases Desktop Client

hululogoMost people have used or at least heard of Hulu, the online video distribution service that streams shows from most of the big networks. Today, Hulu released Hulu Desktop in beta for both Mac and PC. Hulu Desktop brings better full screen viewing along with support for the Apple remote (and Windows Media Center remotes) for navigating Hulu’s entire library as well as controlling videos you are playing.

Since its release, The Hit List has seen a lot of comparison to the already established Omnifocus and Things apps but some users already have switched (see our preview of The Hit List, review of Omnifocus, and our soon to come review of Things).

Things IconWith the GTD (Getting Things Done) app market heating up, Cultured Code released version 1.0 of their app, Things, at Macworld this year. Things generated a lot of talk during it’s beta phase and has lived up to the hype with the 1.0 release (look for a review soon). We were lucky enough to get an interview with Jürgen Schweizer, President of Cultured Code.
