Well you can’t say we don’t like to give stuff away here at MacApper. We’ve been doing a lot of it lately and we certainly plan to keep at it. Who doesn’t like free Mac booty? Today we are giving away copies of rooSwitch, maybe the ultimate OS X profile manager.
And now, the 3 randomly picked winners of licensed copies of rooSwitch by Roobasoft are.
Oops you will need to click through to see if you’ve won
1. Mike, “I second using with devon think, itunes, iweb. Basically it is useful for anyone who uses an app for more than one reason. I’d likely use it with iWeb and iTunes the most.”

The guys at Roobasoft saw our rooSwitch Review yesterday and were so pleased that three lucky people are getting a chance to win a rooSwitch license absolutely free! You may think that in order to win one of these licenses for the great rooSwitch you must jump through hoops, or light yourself on fire, but you are wrong. It is much easier.
All you need to do is post a comment in this article’s comments section answering the following buuuurning question…

Have you ever thought about having multiple iTunes libraries? Or maybe you’ve wanted to create a home and work version of your favorite must-have applications? Well thanks to rooSwitch from roobaSoft, you can! rooSwitch is good for people who want to create multiple profiles of their applications, and it does it all with ease. rooSwitch allows you to drag and drop an app within itself and easily add profiles to your favorite programs, allowing many users access to the app with different settings for both. If you share your Mac with someone else this app is for you.

QuickShareIt is probably the simplest, yet most useful, of file sharing apps I have seen. Sharing a file with the program is as easy as dragging the soon-to-be-shared file to the QuickShareIt icon. Keeping the application open at all times allows for easy access to the file host at all times! Although QuickShareIt is still in the beta stages, I cannot point out any flaws nor find anywhere to suggest improvement.
Start sharing in 3 easy steps…
- Download the QuickShareIt application from this link and drag the file to your Applications folder.
- Open the QuickShareIt application.

Many apps have great features, but are sometimes missing just a little bit of functionality. SIMBL, a piece of software from Mike Sullivan, allows the user to add additional features to pretty much any app. From changing the color of the Terminal window, to writing text on the back of windows, SIMBL makes life on the Mac a bit more interesting.
Through a plugin system, SIMBL allows the user to do virtually anything. One example of a SIMBL plugin is PitHelmet. With PitHelmet, one has the ability to easily remove ads and other annoying elements from websites.
