It's been a year, and a very nice one at that. I love my iPhone. Hype notwithstanding, it is a very nice piece of equipment.

I bought mine on July 3, 2007, and still had a line that morning. Some people didn't get one that morning. Mine's been from Florida to Maine. Last night - er, Friday night - I went to a retirement party for a friend. My daughter wanted my iPhone to take a few photos, and people were impressed with what it could do. Neat as that was, I couldn't care less who it impresses if it doesn't impress me. It does and I'm happy.

P.s. MO...I have set up dashboard with some times and weather for forum members here. What would I use for the location for time for you....Oakton isn't there although it is for weather.

The iPod touch's anniversary is in September. Apple's release cycle seems to now be -
Macs - All year, major changes as always around WWDC or MacWorld - Macs are more reliant on Intel and others with new chips etc.
iPods - major revisions in sept, storage bumps just after xmas
iPhone - major revisions in June/July, storage bumps around xmas

Actually, that is a group of Canadians who love the iPhone, but are outraged at the price plans Rogers announced. I signed the petition yesterday.

The URL to the site used to be http://fuckyourogers.com (which still redirects to ruinediphone.com) but they changed it so that the media could actually talk about their site.
