I'm sure he did. A buddy of mine just bought and said the activation went smooth. Must have been temporary.
yeah I bought it right when it launched (was hitting refresh every 3 minutes since like 9am

Activation worked that night. didn't bother me much as there was a 14 day no limitation trial

Coda looks and works great, but it has more features than I need, and costs money. I don't like spending money, at all. I'm just sticking to Cyberduck and Smultron.

While I do like Coda, most websites these days are on one CMS platform or another (aka Wordpress, Drupal, etc.), which breaks features like live preview.
Perhaps a plugin system might make things better?
