My 2 year old imac dvd player died and what a time just getting the disk out. Went and picked up a usb HP model 1040. Plays and writes cds just fine, but will not play a dvd . I get an error code of -70012. (does anyone know, REALLY, what these numbers mean??) Called HP and they said it had to do with global region setting (huh?) They don't support mac so I'm on my own. Does anyone know how to set this "global region setting?" Thanks
