Boosting WIFI

I have a mac desktop. Pretty new. The guy at the mac store said that the internal wifi in my computer is really strong. If I were to get a router and try to boost that it still would not compare to the wifi I have built in my Mac. How can I boost the wifi in my mac. Thankx.

I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about? I think what the guy at the Apple store meant was that the internal WiFi can pick up weak signals. I'm not sure why you need to boost that?

To move faster. To download faster. To watch video faster.
To listen to music faster.

Your computer isn't really what you should tackle then, in my opinion. The iMac you bought (or Mac Pro) should get great WiFi speed. Your connection type provided by your ISP is what would make the difference. Or at least that's what first comes to mind. Your computer will only go as fast as your connection allows.
