This is a couple days old but I just saw this:

Since Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard has been delayed until October, Apple is rumored to be working on an update to Mac OS X 10.4. The update will supposedly be released under the version number 10.4.10, a somewhat unusual number for Apple, who typically release a significant update like 10.5 after a .9 update. The update, which has begun to appear in Apple’s development circles, will add a few new features, bug fixes, and other improvements, although exactly what will be changed and added is unknown. Of course, this is all speculation based on an AppleInsider (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/07/05/17/apple_preps_first_builds_of_mac_os_x_10_4_10_for_t esting.html) article, but the likelihood of seeing another update before 10.5 Leopard in October is pretty high.

I really don't know if Apple would want to do a new release of 10.4 before 10.5 comes out. From what I have seen of Leopard they're going to keep as much features and tweaks until the Leopard release. Unless they truly do have plenty of secrets that will blow us out of the water, and are inventing the computer again, I doubt that they will want to made 10.4 Tiger to comfortable.

Well, obviously this is old as I'm on 10.4.10 now...however, I'm now mad at you for reminding me that they pushed 10.5 back for the iPhone...sad sad sad, I'm going to go have a good cry now.
