hello mac friends...I am from germany.....

My MBP (2 months old) has some problems..

1. All of a sudden a dull screen appears and a note comes like "You must restart the computer by pressing and holding the Power Button or restart......"

2. Sometimes My Wireless Mighty Mouse's down scrolling option crashes...if i go and change in the system preferences...then it works...

Please suggest me some troubleshoots....otherwise, I have to for Apple Care..

Try backing up and re-installing OS X with the discs that came with it. :)

Whoa, Nellie. Hold on.

MacPerson, what you're describing is a "Kernel Panic (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106227)." That link will tell you all about it. This page (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25392) provides some troubleshooting tips that will help you isolate the cause... it's usually hardware (like bad RAM) and not software... so reinstalling your OS will not help.

There's also lots of good information here (http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/kernelpanics.html). Or you can just take it to Apple.
