Encryption?

Does anyone know of any software which would allow me to set aside a folder on my hard drive that would auto back-up to an encrypted file (whether zip/dmg/whatever) whenever there was a state change? I guess I'm looking for something kinda similar to Time Machine, but that could back up jsut one folder, and add a predetermined password to it without the my having to start it running each and every time.

Has anyone heard of any such app?
